What’s new in gum disease treatment?
Westchester Dental Group has several new, painless ways to treat gum disease, including Arestin (an antibiotic gel), baking soda polishing and Oraqix (a painless topical anesthetic that makes cleaning appointments totally comfortable.
What is TMJ?
TMJ stands for the temporomandibular joint, which is a body part and not a disease. Patients who develop problems associated with the TMJ and jaw muscles may experience pain and stiffness. These ailments can often be successfully treated with a specially-designed appliance.
What if I need a specialist?
We work with a variety of other highly-qualified specialists, including orthodontists, periodontists, endodontists and oral surgeons. Because of our extensive experience and teaching backgrounds, we can recommend the best specialist for you. We then personally coordinate and direct all treatments with specialists, staying in close touch on your overall progress.
